As you may have heard, Olive Branch is coordinating the retreat at Blackstone – October 12-14 and we are busy working on it.  We would like to continue the GIFT BASKET SILENT AUCTION that was so successful at last year’s retreat.

So……we thought we would give you an early “head’s up” so you can be thinking about contributing toward your DWM’s basket, or even doing one yourself.  Just come up with a theme and in the next several months you can be on the lookout for wonderful things to put in your basket.

Now, the terms “creative”, or “imaginative”, etc. are not usually adjectives connected to my name!!  But, even I thought of a few possibilities.  You could do a Holiday theme basket (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be coming up soon after retreat).  Having just become a new grandmother – a Baby Shower basket comes to mind.  Food is always a good choice – a Breakfast basket, a Brunch basket, a Romantic Dinner basket.  The basket I won last year had all kinds of goodies from the Shenandoah Valley area – great idea!!!  A Spa basket would be good, or maybe a Spiritual Growth basket.  Our theme this year is “Pie in the Sky” – so a Pie basket would be neat.

Well, that exhausts my creativity for today.  I KNOW how creative you ladies are, so put your thinking caps on and get started!
