Do you need an easy way to create web-based conversation?
The Indiana Women's Commission wanted to have a place on-line where women
in Indiana could go to connect up around
Quadrennial needs. Many people need to share rides and are searching for roommates. We found two good, free sites to do this.
Hyperboards (www.hyperboards.com
)and Proboards (www.proboards.com)
are both easy to register for an account and sitename.
I chose Proboards because the ad on that site seemed a little less bothersome. Then just give the page a name and go to the admin,
create boards. We created a board (which looks to me like a forum) for QA rideshare, QA roommate search, and one for basic
conversation. You can then put a link to this new forum on your webpage to connect women together.
